Hey there, I’m Jenin, the editor of The Green Baby Spot Blog.

I’m an advocate for healthy living. I believe in eating healthy organic food not loaded with pesticides and chemicals. I believe in making good product choices to improve health and the environment.

After having my daughter in September 2007, I became even more aware of the dangerous chemicals we’re ignorantly exposed to in the products we use daily. I became even more committed to choosing less harmful products for my family. 

I’m committed to green living, not in a hippy fashion, but just by taking small steps, making informed choices, and eliminating chemicals and harmful substances from my family’s life as much as possible.

The Green Baby Spot seeks to be a guide to help other parents like me find really cool baby products that are less toxic and more environmentally friendly. We’re not about compromising style, and living on bare essentials. We love our stuff…but we just love it more if it’s safer!! So at the Green Baby Spot we cater to hip, trendy parents who want the best for their babies. We search for products you can flaunt while doing good for baby and the environment, and practical products that add ease to eco living.

I don’t claim to be an expert at green living, but I’m doing my little bit!  I’m also trying to compile some really good advice to help you in your quest for greener living with baby. From time to time you’ll see guest articles from various experts, and I’ll invite experienced green parents to share their green parenting experiences. You’ll also find great interviews with owners of fabulous eco-conscious businesses, and regular giveaways.
